Embroidery
Embroidery decorates fabric with stitches made using a needle and thread. It involves stitching threads onto fabric to create designs, employing either simple or complex stitches depending on the design.
Embroidery is a premium method for branding apparel, headwear, bags, and textile products. It provides a heightened perceived value and an exceptional quality of branding that surpasses what other processes can achieve. Embroidery utilises yarn, which is intricately stitched into the product, creating a subtly raised effect. A machine embroidery design is prepared using a process called digitising.
Advantages
- A premium, long-lasting process offering up to 12 thread colours.
- Exuding timeless elegance throughout the item's lifespan.
- Premium look and feel.
Disadvantages
- Only approximate PMS colour matches can be achieved; the selected threads are sourced from available options to ensure the best match possible.
- There are some disadvantages to producing very fine text or intricate details, such as ™ or ® symbols, and creating digital gradient effects can be challenging. Printing variable data, such as individual names, is not feasible. Minimum order quantities apply.
Artwork Requirements
- Artwork should be provided in an editable vector format.
- Fonts should preferably be converted to outlines or objects to prevent font conflicts.
- We suggest steering clear of fine details; the minimum text heights for embroidered artworks are: 4.5mm for Sans Serif fonts and 5.5mm for Serif fonts.
