Digital Packaging Print

Digital printing for packaging directly transfers designs to packaging materials. Files convert to the CMYK colour system for better accuracy between the screen and the substrate.

126237-0Digital Packaging Print is great for custom boxes, retail packaging, and promotional mailers, offering full-colour digital prints.

Advantages:

  • Instant drying, variable data, and complex gradients.

Disadvantages:

  • No dark substrate printing.

  • Limited PMS matching.

Artwork Requirements:

  • High-resolution CMYK PDF at 300 DPI at actual print size, including 3mm bleed on all edges. Fonts must be embedded or converted to outlines. Files are converted to the CMYK colour system — Pantone PMS colours should be specified where colour accuracy is important.
