Digital Label
Digital label printing is a method that involves direct printing from a digital image onto paper or vinyl adhesive labels, providing the flexibility of full-colour CMYK print designs.
Digital Labels are used for complex-shaped containers or irregular surfaces, involving digitally printed adhesive labels.
Advantages:
-
Vivid, full-colour images; variable data capable.
-
Custom shapes and single setup charge.
Disadvantages:
-
No metallic/neon inks.
-
White ink unavailable on clear, silver, or gold.
Artwork Requirements:
-
High-resolution CMYK PDF or editable vector format at 300 DPI at actual print size. Include 3mm bleed where the design runs to the label edge. Custom die-cut shapes must be supplied as a vector outline on a separate layer.
