3D embroidery, or puff embroidery, is a technique that creates a three-dimensional effect. Foam is placed on the cap or garment surface, and the design is embroidered on top and is most often used on caps.

Advantages:

Disadvantages:

  • Limited to less intricate designs.

  • Fine detail and small text are difficult to achieve.

  • Only approximate PMS colour matches achievable.

  • Variable data printing not feasible.

  • Minimum order quantities apply.

Artwork Requirements:

  • Editable vector format.

  • Fonts converted to outlines.
